Feast of the Wood

Every year in autumn we celebrate the "Festa del Bosco," fair-market products of the forest and undergrowth. This is a very unique culinary event. The old town of Montone will be lit by torches and stand will be set up anywhere where you can taste authentic delicacies, from wild mushrooms with truffle, from pancakes to grilled meat, roasted chestnuts with honey. The main feature of this event is that the halls are made within the premises of public and private center in an absolute absence of tensile structures, in a very suggestive. Alongside the food stalls will also be on display and sale of food products and local crafts. The evening will be enlivened by a number of entertainment in the streets and squares of the historic center of the country.
